As a gay man myself, I’d argue that gay and heterosexual couples should explore adoption before going the surrogacy route. Surrogacy feels both exploitive of women (even though some may say they are doing it of their own volition) and against natural law (if you physically cannot have biological children, maybe you’re not meant to). There are also ways to lead a meaningful life that do not involve having children. Plenty of people do it.

“Believing it because it is useful”…you and I are in the same camp as far as using atheism/secularism as means of rebelling. I went to Catholic school, grew up in a Protestant church and was gay so I was triply ready to rebel as a young adult. Now I find myself trying to go back to it, realizing how profoundly it shaped me (I still have so many of the prayers memorized), only to find that it doesn’t feel the same and that I feel “false.” And your pod guest is correct that you cannot replace it with a board game meetup group. It’s not the same. It doesn’t even feel the same when you go back to the traditions you grew up in after so many years of being away. It’s like you’re trying to recapture something that you never knew you would miss so desperately.

I'm a bit confused by this. It was asked, what caused this anti-white mentality, and the response is, not sure, but civil rights law has something to do with this. But, from what I've seen, and I hope I'm allowed to say, radical feminist white women created this anti-white mentality. I think Heather MacDonald is especially strange to me, because she never points out these people, or debates them. Which makes it seem as though none of the people who say they are against anti-whiteness, really care.

There's just one big missing part of this convo, which is that the end of the globalization era means the world is about to change. A lot. I bet Peter Zeihan would actually come on this show, if you sent an invitation, maybe a gift basket.

This dude pretty much makes total sense to me. One minor caveat would probably be, that those starter homes (if Gen Z home ownership is actually that high, not sure if that's worldwide or whatever) are not going to have the same kind of equity as more evolved Pokemon homes, perhaps like a Charzard home. If Zillennials also have inflated credentials, less job security, and less savings? However, ostensibly on the upside, wage inflation and labor demand are high, with a shrinking workforce?
